Advanced SON Solution Provides Impressive Network Performance Improvements

Eden-NET provides operators with substantial gains in the performance of their Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks through advanced scheduling of radio resources among multiple neighboring wireless access nodes or eNodeBs. Based upon simulations of LTE network deployments in Eden Rock’s 3GPP-compliant system simulator, the system performance gains from Eden-NET in a typical LTE network deployment are targeted to be 40 percent in network system capacity and 200 percent in cell edge performance.
Eden-NET enables wireless operators to increase revenue for their LTE deployments via higher data rate services offerings and increased numbers of total subscribers supported. Eden-NET’s performance benefits ultimately equate to a greater return on wireless spectrum investment.
